This evening, the Foreign Minister of Australia visited the Central Gov't Offices in Victoria to meet with the Hon Chief Secretary. The two discussed the state of affairs within both nations, a potential state visit, and the signing of a treaty.

Last evening, the Hon Chief Secretary traveled to London to attend the Commonwealth Reception on the occasion of His Majesty's Jubilee. The Hon Chief Secretary was pleased to be conversing with other foreign delegates and His Majesty himself.

This evening, the Executive Council sat for its third meeting of the term. The Australian Treaty was discussed and voted on, and other topics such as the rewriting of the Constitution and the Immigration Department were also raised.

The Chief Secretary has released two statements in his official capacity today: One for the United Nations, in which he expressed the Gov't's firm support for the re-applying UK and condemnation towards Ireland. The other for the nation, detailing the current state of affairs.

This evening, the Royal Hong Kong Defence Force (Royal Hong Kong Defence Force) started to train for one of the first Remembrance Days in years. The Royal Hong Kong Regiment will take part and will be marching on Jackson Road on that very special day.

Victoria fell silent today to mark Remembrance Sunday. The Governor, Chief Secretary, Chairman of the Urban Council, along with senior officers of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force, Royal Hong Kong Regiment and the Hong Kong Military Service Corps, laid wreaths at the Cenotaph, followed by a speech by Chief Secretary Verdictless.

The Chief Secretary attended the Diplomatic Reception at Windsor Castle on the 22nd of December, meeting with His Majesty The King, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Chief Minister of Gibraltar and other Commonwealth dignitaries.

Yesterday, the Hon. Chief Secretary welcomed the Cardinal Secretary of State from the Vatican City to Victoria. Topics relating to mutual cooperation and religion were discussed.

Yesterday evening, the Executive Council conducted the first meeting of this term, with the Malaysia - Hong Kong treaty being passed.
