Today is “National Pick Your Name Day.” Every year, I am “Your Majesty.” A student just came up and asked me if he could be called “Crap Bag.” His parents should be so proud.

Just because teachers are salaried employees does not obligate us to spend nights, weekends & vacations engaged in prep work for the teaching The Dept. of Ed could never afford to pay us an hourly rate considering what we do. They got a great deal giving us a 10-month salary
