Every Odia should honestly introspect about their language, culture, economy and state. To remain best kept secret and amicable to all is not getting us much in return. Our humility and calmness is considered as weakness. It's time to be assertive.

ଅଣ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ରାଜ୍ୟରୁ ଆସି ଏଇଠି ଡାକ୍ତର ହେଉଥିବା ପିଲାମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ରୋଗୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହ କଥା କେମିତି ହେଉଛନ୍ତି। ଖାସ୍ କରି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ହିନ୍ଦୀ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି ବୁଝିଲେ କହି ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ । ଡାକ୍ତର ରୋଗୀର ଭାଷା ବୁଝିବା କଥା କି ରୋଗୀ ଡାକ୍ତର ଭାଷା ଶିଖିବ?

Whatever perceived benifit we get in GDP, revenue and all those in financial terms gets offest by pollution, displacement, health issues especially for the locals. Whatever is mined it mostly goes to other state where high value goods are produced. What we get

Where actually forest is not cleared across Odisha? For mines for urbanization etc etc. And the result severe summer time temp and pollution during winters similar to North India now. Development should be sustainable not exploitative.

ପୁରୀ ରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ନାମ ଫଳକ ଲେଖା ହେଲେ ବି ବାଂଲା ବଡ଼ ଅକ୍ଷର ଲେଖା ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଜନ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କେମିତି ହେବ, ଓଡ଼ିଆଙ୍କୁ ନିଜେ ତାଙ୍କ ଭାଷା ଭଲ ଲାଗୁନି, ନହେଲେ ଏହି ଅଭିଯାନ କରିବା ଦରକାର ପଡ଼ିନଥନ୍ତା।

Many of the English medium schools in Odisha atleast around 15-20 years back, teachers themselves were not comfortable in teaching in English. To hide this incompetence they used hindi. There's unspoken hierarchy where Odia is at the lowest in these eng med schools.

Never understood why the Govt don't have any foresightedness. Widening roads and building flyover are temp solution, making public transportation the preferred mode of travelling in cities is the solution.

Odias propensity to remain content and be best kept secret with urge to seek validation from people up north is not going to help us much. We should be assertive about our rights be it resources, revenue or language culture. Or we will continue to cry that govt is ignoring us.

If this is their reason, they would continue to fail in coming years as well.

I am now getting more clarity that for a resource rich state, state based parties in power and in opposition as well is better. Atleast for Odisha it is required, as unlike a national party the existence of the state party solely depend upon the people of that state.

It seems the Govt dont have hope of population increasing in the capital city of bhubaneswar and nearby cities of Cuttack and khordha. ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଲୋକ ପଖାଳ ଦିବସ ଦହିବରା ଦିବସ କରିବାରେ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ।

Odias should travel their state more to understand the situation of their language. In Rajgangpur and Rourkela the major communication language is Hindi. When Odias don't want to speak their language why tribals having their own native tongue would?

ଯଦି ବିରୋଧୀ ଦଳ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗରେ ସରକାର ଗଠନ କଲେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପରେ, ଯାହା ଜଣା ପଡୁଛି ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆଉ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଅସ୍ମିତା କଥା ମନେ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ ।

ଏଇଟା ଆଗରୁ ହେଇନଥିଲା କି? Instagram ରେ ରିଲେ କି ପୋଷ୍ଟ ରେ ଦେଖିବ, ବହେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଥିବେ ଯିଏ ଏହାକୁ ବି ବିରୋଧ କରିବେ।

ହିନ୍ଦୀ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ଚଳାଉ କି ଅନ୍ୟ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ରାଜ୍ୟ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାର ଅଯଥା ଟଙ୍କା ସେଥିରେ ନ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରି AI ପରି ବିଷୟ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଲାଗୁ କରୁ।

Why are we not hiring native Odias for blue collar jobs? When we are going out in lakhs for jobs?
