Does anyone know a Beth Chapman? She ordered strawberries and the phone number she gave isn’t her and is full so it doesn’t allow me to leave a voicemail. I also emailed and haven’t heard back. If you know her please ask her to check her email so she can pick up her strawberries.

Celebrate National Ag day by letting the world know how you relied on agriculture today.

arm and ranch families comprise less than 2% of the U.S. population. That means 45% of the population works in some form of agriculture that is meant to help farmers. Check out agexplorer.ffa.org to explore the 8 branches of agriculture that are more than just farming.

Technology in the agriculture industry is so important. Just another way you can be a part of agriculture without being a farmer.

Super proud of this group! Placing first in the FFA livestock contest and 2nd overall!!! Second year in a row for them to accomplish this! Now on to state!

There is NOT going to be mini FFA tomorrow May 3 for the k-2 members. No make up date at this time but if one occurs we will notify ASAP.

Last Friday was a beautiful day to plant the test plot. Thank you to our donors and thank you C and A Family Farms for helping the members get it planted.

This group of fantastic members placed 25th at state livestock. It was a long day but I know they are happy that they were in the AC all day last Saturday!

And that’s a wrap on the year… just kidding members will still be busy with FFA and 4H during the summer. Thank you all for attending banquet.

Mini FFA families: mini FFA shirts were in before school got out but with all that comes with the end of school they got forgotten about. You may pick up your shirt Next Monday June 20 from 7-9pm or Thursday from 4-6PM. If you have any questions please email Julie Zeigler.

If you didn’t know… I’m back in the saddle and last week plant and soils talked about soil compaction by completing a lab close to the practice field and another close to the playground. #doingtolearn
