Something that happens every year in April is Active School Week, and Reem El-Hassany (ريم) was at Scoil Mhuire in Shankill to check out all the fun activities the whole school have been getting up to! Active School Flag #ASW23
Tomorrow is #EuropeDay2023 and we had the great honour of Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD raising our European Movement Ireland #bluestarflag 6th Class earned with their work in European Studies. She was accompanied by His Excellency, Juris Štālmeistars Ambassador of Latvia Latvia in Ireland and Cllr. Jim Gildea.

Sixth Class and the #greenschools committee had a fantastic seafari today with Mona from SEASHOREKIDS Marine Institute at Booterstown seashore.

Sixth Class enjoyed a marine biology workshop with Mona from SEASHOREKIDS Marine Institute yesterday and look forward to their field trip ‘seafari’ to Sandycove next week 🐟🐠🐡
Sixth Class had an amazing Seafari at Sandycove this morning with Mona SEASHOREKIDS Marine Institute as part of the Ocean Explorers program. They found crabs, starfish, shrimps, anemones, butterfish, pipefish……. the list goes on!

6th Class visited Dáil Éireann today at the kind invitation of Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD & met with Barry Ward 🇮🇪 🇪🇺 who gave generously of his time. Then onto SCSI - Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland for lunch, graciously hosted by Shirley Coulter. A wonderful day out for some future leaders in the making!
#activeweek day 1! We had our morning warm up lead by some 5th class boys, the junior classes had #stretchandgrow 🤸🏽 and the senior classes had cricket 🏏 kindly coached by Johnny Harte. A great first day! Active School Flag
