Have you ever thought about adopting a skunk? Skunks are often misunderstood, but play an important role in Florida’s ecosystems. They’re also pretty darn cute! Check out this link for more information🦡 floridaskunkrescue.com

This is Snow, one of Zaksee Parrot Sanctuary’s rescue ambassadors. Snow is about 30 years old and is a great example of why researching an animal is so important before buying one. Unfortunately, Snow wears this purple collar to prevent feather plucking due to prior neglect.

Did you know that owls can’t swivel their eyes? This is why they are able to move their heads completely around in order to see what’s behind them! Owls also live on every continent except Antarctica. 🦉 #funfact #owls #BirdsOfPrey #science #nature
