Our MS students represented Rangel at the Dallas ISD competition this past Saturday. And they did awesome! We are so proud of all who participated. Attached is a list of our students who placed in the top 5, along with 2 categories that included up to top 10. Congratulations!

The Student Voter Empowerment Clubs from North Lake Early College High School, Hillcrest HS, wwsamuell, Irma Rangel YWLS, South Oak Cliff High School, and Woodrow Wilson High School had the opportunity to attend today's Board meeting to hear from Dr. Stephanie S. Elizalde and the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees.

Monday, March 10th, Dallas ISD is offering free “pop-up” meal services. Each child will receive 2 days’ worth of breakfast & lunch meals to enjoy at home. Meals are designed to be heated & served at your convenience. Children must be present to pick up meals. Locations below.

These artists have earned medals at the TAEA JR Vase Region 10 South art competition! Besides all medaling in their divisions, 1 artist received a Platinum Medal in Division 2 and 2 artists received Platinum medals in Division 1. Platinum medals = top 10 percent! Kudos🎨👩‍🎨

Congratulations to our Big Tex Scholars! They were awarded the Juanita Craft Scholarship that honors the legacy of the South Dallas resident & civil rights activist. The State Fair of Texas awarded $6,000 scholarships to selected applicants from Fair Park-area high schools.

Princess Tanyi participated with 5 other students in the 2025 Parrish Scholarship Debate at Spruce High School, with each earning $3,000 scholarships. This debate fosters critical thinking & civic engagement, along with awarding scholarships to Dallas ISD debaters. Dallas ISD
