Heading to Memphis soon for our exhibition game tomorrow night benefitting St. Jude. Looking forward to seeing so many former players from our Memphis days. These are the shoes I will be wearing during the game. All of my former players names are on them!

This Ja Morant, man. How do you trade this Ja Morant? But how do you get him more than once a fortnight? So mesmerizing, so frustrating -- and so familiar.

Just want to say: Jaren Jackson Jr. represented everything that’s good about Memphis and the Grizzlies as an organization. A great player and a wonderful person that always carried himself well. He’ll be missed in the 901, Utah is getting a good one.

Another thought: The Grizzlies traded two players (Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson) who lived up to every expectation because a third player (Ja Morant) came up short. Morant's failures -- physical and otherwise -- are the primary reason the franchise has to start again.
