A5.3 LDH’s ch 6 challenges the discourse that entire education systems can’t be reformed. Even though the countries discussed are much smaller than the US, reforming them was no easy feat.#EDCI530

A5.4 Change and results need time and all of these countries understood that and created systems over time, that are now very successful. #EDCI530.

A6.1. The biggest takeaway is that, yes, core education reform can happen even in a large and diverse country like the U.S. We can take Finland’s lead and create a very slim and lean national curriculum, while allowing local control of curriculum and assessment.. #EDCI530

A2.1: One of the things that I would like to fix at my site is having one dedicated person to make copies for all teachers. This might seem lame but teachers spend a lot of valuable time making copies. #EDSE490

A2.2: By becoming a teacher leader, I can have a better understanding of the resources already available at my site. Furthermore, if resources are not available, I could come up with a plan to get this going. #EDSE490
