Q1: I am very big on self reflection, so I have my students create their own anchor charts so it also creates ownership. #HCISDchat

Q2: it’s important to differentiate visuals because every learner learns at their own pace and style. What one can see and write can be different from someone who needs to hear it then by drawing it. #HCISDchat

Visuals create a deeper understanding by connecting new and past experiences. #HCISDchat

Q4 & Q5: incorporating visuals from other content areas helps students make connections from reading into math and vice-versa. Educreations is a good app to use for students to show evidence of their learning. #HCISDchat
