7th Book of 2025 for #RalphReads I thought that I like the works of White. This is his 2nd book thst I read & I love how direct and unapologetically awesome he is! I’m a sucker of unhappy ending and I found it in this book. And I thought White will be part of my all time fave.

8th book of 2025 for #RalphReads I love how White ended the story of Aldwych, August & Ernestine. White attempted to talk about the complexities of sex, narcissism and human relationships and he did it well!

9th Book of 2025 for #RalphReads This is the second Aciman book that I read (first was Harvard Square w/c is one of my all time faves). Reading Aciman is calming and I like how I was able to listen to myself while reading this book. Totoo nga siguro no, you need to find love.

10th Book of 2025 for #RalphReads It was an exciting read, wonderfully written in the first half but the plot ‘sagged’ towards the end. But Kuang’s #Yellowface is a wonderful read.

Puta! Napaka-ironic na “R U Okay?” Day today pero sobrang stress ko sa work- first four hours palang yan ng shift ah. Managed an open shift with 3 call-ins and more staff away. Need to tell families to wait until a staff starts. At dahil understaffed, one hour late ang lunch.

11th Book of 2025 for #RalphReads After reading many reviews, I gave in & read #TheSongOfAchilles I liked how the plot progressed & Patroclus & Thetis’ character dev’t. I’m really a fan of ‘unhappy’ endings; Miller broke my heart into pieces & that for me is a good read!

Fuck! I don’t know but Richie’s character devt in S2E7 in #TheBear is my fave so far. This made me cry. Way to go, Richie!

12th book of 2025 for #RalphReads Reading Voung’s #TheEmperorOfGladness is truly a reflective experience. As a queer who was deeply influenced by my grandmothers, this book hits differently.

I enjoyed watching #Ripley especially it’s Black and White approach and cinematography. Andrew Scott’s performance is great and again, Robert Elswit’s cinematography is simply wonderful! I thought if my lifenis a cinematography, it’s Elswit’s work in Ripley.
