So, this was an incredibly classy and touching surprise The Rails SaaS Conference had prepared. I am so honored. The award is solid crystal, including the ruby on top. It weights, it reflects light beautifully, and it is really gorgeous. It'll have a place in my living room. ❤️

Greek 🇬🇷 hospitality! Petros (Petros Amoiridis) from Thessaloniki pulled a MINASWAN during The Rails SaaS Conference Athens by treating us to this dinner (a few dishes, and the dessert are missing from the pic!) and insisted on paying for the whole thing. 🙇 ❤️🇬🇷❤️🇬🇷❤️🇬🇷

I’ve declared fave conferences before but none match this. I had high expectations for The Rails SaaS Conference. It blew them all away. Incredible to hang out with ~70 people in a growing niche. Who knew you could make so many friends at the intersection of a technology & a business model.

It's up to us to keep the Rails community active and welcoming for the current and future members. Events like The Rails SaaS Conference make it possible for community folks to meet in real life and forge relationships.

Expectations were high, and they were more than matched. I'm just so freaking inspired to work so much more on Friendly.rb to make it the best event I can.

Always expect something to go wrong! 15 minutes before my presentation at The Rails SaaS Conference , my laptop’s keyboard died 💀💀 Luckily, Andrew Culver had an external keyboard and I managed to transfer the slides 😮‍💨

Just attended The Rails SaaS Conference, my first Rails conference after over a decade of using Ruby on Rails. An incredible experience to finally connect in person with people I’ve met online. Better late than never, right? 😁

This was the special room, you can see the recording setup there. When the hotel was being built, they founded part of the ancient Athens wall, which you can see to the left of the picture. Curious about how the final edited talks look like.
