👷 People of East Kilbride! Come along to our event on the 11 Oct to learn more about our plans to move Hairmyres station 600m west (off Redwood Ave). The move will also allow us to extend the existing double-track by 1.4km and build a second platform.

On Saturday 30 September 2023 at 14:00 Railfuture Scotland will be holding a public meeting in Edinburgh. Our guest speaker will be Scott Prentice, Head of Business Development at ScotRail. Venue is Friends' Meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace, EH1 2JL. It will be worth attending!

Our off-peak all day: cheaper and simpler fares trial starts on 2 October. We know you'll have lots of questions and we have our Managing Director, Alex Hynes to answer some of the most frequently asked such as, will fares prices go back up when the trial ends?

At Railfuture Scotland meeting in Edinburgh today, ScotRail speaker revealed that #EastLinton station will open in December 2023. Excellent presentation filled with facts and figures, and honest answers to the many questions from the audience. We told you it was worth attending!

We're all hoping that this welcome initiative will encourage more people to use the train. It's only a trial, so if you want cheap fares all day long indefinitely then new rail travellers are needed.
