Our focus groups with experts from the Financial Intelligence Unit, banks, and investigators, are assessing risks for Kosovo's first-ever Banking Sector Money Laundering Risk Assessment. This is crucial for developing strong detection & investigation measures.

Kosovo received 41 points (out of 100) and ranks 83rd in the CPI globally ~ placed as the third country within Western Balkan countries. 🎉

Today’s establishment of an Asset Recovery Office marks a milestone on #AntiCorruption efforts in Kosovo. UNDP, jointly with Swiss Development and Cooperation and Sida, is pleased to have supported this initiative and we look forward to much success in tracing and returning hidden stolen assets.
