Officers of Amritsar Customs (P) Commissionerate posted at SGRDJI Airport booked a case of smuggling of foreign brand ESSE Golden Leaf cigarettes coming from Dubai and seized around 2,60,400 cigarettes valued at Rs 29.5 Lacs(approx.). Further investigation is underway.

Based on profiling, Officers of Amritsar Customs at SGRDJI Airport intercepted a pax and booked a case of smuggling of gold, which was glued between the layers of vest worn by the Pax.Pure gold weighing 252.95 grams valued at Rs.14.84 lakhs was recovered and seized.
