2024 war das wärmste Jahr seit Beginn der Aufzeichnungen in Europa und weltweit. Europa heizt sich von allen Kontinenten am schnellsten auf, 2,4 C seit dem 19. Jh. Dürren, Extremniederschläge & Hitzewellen nehmen stark zu. Hitzetote in Europa: 2023 48.000.
