I am very hesitant to assign obesity in the US to lifestyle. Something is DEEPLY wrong with their food quality. You know this because Europeans immediately gain weight in the US without changing their eating habits and lose the weight just as easily when back in Europe.

To all of the educators returning back to school this week for 2022-23, have an amazing and a blessed opening day and first week of school!

As the academic year begins, we want to remind everyone to #citeblackwomen! Whether it be in your research or in your syllabi, a lot is missed when the intellectual contributions of Black women are left out. We are dynamic producers of knowledge, within and BEYOND the academy!

Shoutout to the women who are becoming more confident in who they are. To the women who are working on themselves personally and professionally, and celebrating the small victories. The women who are loving themselves through the process. I hope you have an amazing day.

The way I remember the ACT is this: if your parents could afford/take you to prep classes, buy you the prep books, and if you had time/encouragement to read them & study, you’d do well. It wasn’t a test of knowledge and skill as much as a test of preparation.
