While waiting on family to visit for Thanksgiving, everything that could go wrong seems to go wrong. Currently, our water heater is out. Hoping we get it fixed before she arrives late tonight! Wish us luck! Makes me thankful for hot water though. What are y'all thankful for?

*sigh* Today feels forever long. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's knowing how much I have to do tonight to get ready to visit my parents tomorrow. Maybe it's because it's that weird time between Christmas and New Years when it seems the whole world is sleeping. I don't know.

I know I haven't been on here a lot lately, and I miss you guys, but it's hard managing double SM accts. It also doesn't help that I've discovered a Book FB group, so I've fallen down that rabbit hole. But I want y'all to know I miss you guys! I hope you're doing well!!

Well, it looks like Hubs and I have finally caught Covid. I'm starting to recover, so I thought I would do a little bit of cleaning, but after putting on clothes and taking out the trash I'm beat. This sucks.

I lost my Grandma yesterday, and it's been so weird. I know she's in a better place and has full use of her body again, but the whiplash I'm getting from how quickly my emotions are changing is making me tired. Can I just put my brain on auto-pilot for this next week?

We stopped at #moonpie in downtown Chattanooga this weekend when we were on our way to volunteer for #rocktheriverfront . It's such a cool store and we'll have to come back. Then we had a blast talking to people and dancing to the DJ, while we kept an eye on the #impulse seesaws.

Trying to work while wishing I could just binge #Bridgerton is difficult. I feel like a dork for being this excited for a TV show, but I can't help it either.

My brain hurts. I made flash cards to learn the difference between all the architecture styles and I'm really struggling with Colonial Revival/ Federal/ Neoclassical/Greek Revival. They all look the same and trying to Google how they're different doesn't help.

I've realized I've fallen down a Fantasy Romance rabbit hole this year, and after the series I started yesterday I'm not even mad about it. What have you been reading lately?

We volunteered today for the #4bridgesartsfestival and had a blast! It was fun talking with the different vendors and people there. I was in awe of all the talented artists. If you haven't gone yet you should go tomorrow. I think this will become a tradition for us.
