Ngāti Awa leader, Pouroto Ngaropo, has confirmed a rāhui has been placed on Whakaari / White Island after the deadly eruption yesterday. Mr Ngaropo said the rāhui covers the island and the waters around it. rnz.co.nz/news/national/…
