instantly noticing the tears, a panicked look shoots across his face. “babe? what's wrong, why are you tearing up?”

his worry slips away as virgil speaks, a small smile forming. “oh. it is?”

the smile only grows with the kiss. he can feel himself relaxing, too. “do i?”

a hum leaves him as he returns it, looping his own around virgil's waist. “thank you, sweetheart.”

salem continues smiling, arms wrapped securely around his boy. “i love you.”

little head kiss. he's feeling affectionate. “you're the perfect boyfriend.”

blink. “oh, shit, sorry—” small laugh. slightly embarrassed, but eh- “still getting used to it.”

joins him briefly before returning the kiss to virgil's own. “you're the perfect 𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅.” small chuckle.

playful eye roll. “nah, it's you.”

scoff. “it's you, love.”

“mm, you.” playful purr.

he's gonna keep purring, solely because he likes him. “it's you and you can't change my mind.”

it sure does. “i love you, perfect husband.”

he can't stop the grin from tugging at his lips. he's so glad he gets to call him that.

salem pulls his boy in for a kiss, totally relaxed.

he forgot how much he loves this feeling. he's so glad he's married to one of the best men in the world.
