I didn't become a Christian because someone shared about their "awesome church." I became a Christian after someone shared the gospel. Preach the gospel not your church.

When people perpetuate bad theology. There is usually a myriad of problems, I list three: 1. They do not measure what they hear by the Bible. 2. They repeat the trash they listen to. 3. They are willing to follow the stranger instead of the Shepherd’s voice.

America is not the new Israel. The United States is not the kingdom of God. The goal of the church is not to make a Christian nation but to make disciples of all nations.

Last year, I found my Dad’s poll tax receipt among his papers. He kept it as a reminder of the barriers our family faced in voting. 58 years ago yesterday, the 24th Amendment outlawing poll taxes was ratified.

Sure Jesus turned over tables, but… 1. You’re not Jesus. 2. He did that once. Not ALL DAY EVERY DAY looking for petty fights. Maybe let’s all look for reasons to mimic his kindness, gentleness, love, and mercy today.
