given that Challengers seems to be inspiring people to play tennis, i have a message for you: please do not play tennis. please do not be inspired. there are not enough courts in NYC for you. you will hate it. everyone will laugh at you. you will trip and fall and probably die.

It’s so great to see challengers having this trickle down impact on new or non tennis fans but I wish tennis was more friendly to really sending them down the rabbit hole. There’s such a huge step missing between first exposure to the sport and watching actual matches

I don’t think giving a 16 yr old a WC into a 1000 is a good idea. I actually think we need to get rid of WCs in 1000s. The only 1s that should ever be given are to former Major champs or former #1s . Everyone else should have to play Qs. A WC is NOT bringing in more fans to a 1000
