Where you live matters. Zillow continues to shine a light through our research on the inequities that remain for many communities of color.

Luis Vertentes, of East Providence, got evicted yesterday. He works full-time as a landscaper but fell behind on rent after being hospitalized. He has 3 weeks till he’s homeless. There may be millions like him around the country if we don’t reinstate the eviction moratorium.

I just ran into one of the security guards in my building. I asked if she was evacuating. She said: “On my salary, either I can evacuate. Or I can pay my rent on the first. I can’t do both.” I wish more people understood that not everyone has the privilege to evacuate. #Ida

iBuyers have reached 1% of U.S. home sales! As @Zillow's Jeremy Wacksman has said: iBuying services "bring net-new inventory to the market...adding liquidity to the market that has been difficult for consumers to navigate.” bit.ly/3n71Z7M #realestate #ibuying

Hearing about Russ already being in Denver today feels like when you find out your Ex is already on a date the same day they broke up with you. #Seahawks

One of the hardest things about being black in America--is that white people (well meaning most of the time) constantly try to tell you how you must behave, what is and is not racist, and why you should be gracious even in the face of blatant disrespect by other white people...
