Everything about this year was different. It hurt like crazy to accept I won’t be able to do what I live for most and play sports. I miss the long practices, the walk throughs, the competition, and the court. Hopefully 2021 will be better. I’m ready to play!

The best player on a team isn’t always the player who scores the most. Sometimes it’s the player who has a high IQ or a diverse/versatile skill set or a player who is unselfish & coachable or who knows their role inside & out. Basing “good” only on points scored is a big mistake!

Our final individual recognition from the 22-23 season is the Athlete of the Year. Women’s basketball’s Elyce Knudsen and football’s Alexander Perkins were named the Millikin Athletes of the Year, adding to their already long list of accolades!
