Ooof! Pardon the pun, but Gloves Off by Louisa Reid really packs a punch! It’s brutal and raw and painful. It’s also hopeful, brave and emboldened. I love the power and beauty and deceptive simplicity of a well crafted verse novel, and Louisa Reid’s verse novels never disappoint.
