What a night for these kids, this program, and this community. We made history last night, being the first SF girls basketball team to reach the PIAA State Championship. This season has 4 days left in it, and I can’t wait to enjoy every minute of it!

Today we fell short on the scoreboard, but no where else. True to their character, these Lions fought for every second. These girls can end their season with clear eyes, and hearts full of love for their teammates, this program, and all of South Fayette #SFLionPride 🦁💚🤍

It’s so bittersweet. Only 1 team can end their season with a win. Yesterday’s outcome isn’t what I dreamed, but the memories made with these kids are everything I could ever wish for, and so much more. The 2022-2023 Lady Lions will hold a special place in my heart forever. 💚🤍
