You cannot use "biological sex" as a get-out clause to say that trans women aren't women. We are women. There is no separation between us and any other women. Trans women deserve all the same rights and protections. We are all humans, we all deserve love and respect.

Tickle v Giggle is also an example of why self-ID is so important. A big part of Tickle's case was that she had GRS and her NSW birth cert (which requires GRS) listed her as Female. It's difficult to know what the result would be if she wasn't able to change her birth cert.
