- a heartfelt apology to Brittany Higgins
- the announcement of Janet Albrechtsen's resignation
- the appointment of an independent panel to examine journalistic ethics across all Murdoch media.

Another ethics blunder from The OZ in letting Albrechtsen produce a Saturday feature lecturing others on media ethics. When is she going to admit she got way too close to Lehrmann and regrets being a player rather than a reporter in the sordid saga?

The role of Murdoch provocateur Janet Albrechtsen in misrepresenting Brittany Higgins’ allegation as just part of an Australian version of “woke” US MeToo movement needs to be examined here. We NewsCorp subscribers do not deserve Albrechtsen’s shoddy journalism. Lachlan? Anyone?

Paul Barry So Channel 10 didn’t fully investigate every angle of a story found to be on the balance of probability true. Channel 7 accepted the “risable” assertions of a man “with nothing to lose”. I’ll keep watching channel 10 thanks
