At the Green Customs Global Conference. The greening of customs and supply chains is one of our focus areas; overcoming challenges on classification & facilitation will allow us to contribute better to this global objective. World Customs Organization is strategically positioned to lead this task.

Green Customs Global Conference ⁦World Customs Organization⁩ ended with positive outcome. Data for transparency and traceability, adaptation of HS and other tools, open communication with the private sector and other agencies, trust and enforcement were some of recommendations.

At the World Customs Organization Technology Conference & Exhibition, I moderated a panel on the collection and use of data. It is all about digitalization, data quality and adoption of emerging technologies.

Happy to share the news that Antigua and Barbuda has been unanimously elected by the members of the Finace Committee to serve as Chair for biennium 2023-2025.

Genial colaborar con mis colegas regionales de @wcoamericaribe @faustocalix con @aduanashonduras, @wernerovalle con Guatemala SAT Guatemala, Tayra Barsallo con aduanaspanama y @imfnews durante una reunión de una semana con más de 30 jefes de aduanas en República Dominicana.
