I just finished watching Versailles no Bara (The Rose of Versailles). I honestly didn't expect MAPPA to animate it, and they did quite well. I'm not going to give my opinion to the "classists" who cling to the 1979 version, because that comparison doesn't make sense.

When it is written that RoV deals with the themes of “sexuality” it does not mean “sexual orientation” but Oscar’s awakening regarding her heterosexual sexuality and how she handles it. People need to understand that O and A’s bed scene was and is still groundbreaking

How are you guys feelings? The movie release was supposed to be a fun and exciting time but the truth is that the last few days have been rough. I am personally feeling tired and sad. I hope we can recover from that soon. May things get fun again 🔔🌹
