some narratives are so lazy.. “there’s no real use cases of crypto” gtfo. glorious breakthroughs are happening on L2 sequencers, defi, capital allocation, art funding, stablecoins etc you just have to have a little curiosity, tolerance for nuance, and gumption to find them.

Ethereum is in the best spot it's ever been yet sentiment is the worst it's ever been The future of crypto will not be won on crypto twitter It will be won delivering a decentralized, global financial settlement layer for the world, where ETH gains a natural monetary premium

So the US election debate was helpful in spotting the crazies coming out of the woodwork - cheers for making it easy to spot who I shouldn’t be paying attention to 🤣

one of the key characteristics of good DeFi Projects is they design their products holistically they consider the various stakeholders and try to balance the risk/reward of each stakeholder imo Curve does this way better than Uniswap currently. Hopefully V4 improves things

They just conceded ETH is not offered as an investment contract security in secondary markets. But U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will not explain why ETH and BTC but no others--because they can't. There is no plan, no framework, no logic, no due process, and certainly no respect for the law.

On the decentralised exchange branding front, the leads today are: 1. CowSwap 2. Uniswap X 3. 1inch 4. Everyone else. In the battle of the brands, CoW DAO | Don't get milked ™️ has taken the lead massively. If you've been following CowSwap's trajectory, you know where this is going.

“There’s really only two things you should be doing in the early stage - talking to your customers and improving the product”

Literally every time I get in contact with tradfi they have no fucking clue what defi even is and are in awe wtf I'm even working with. These aren't boomers either. "We're still early" is a meme as eth is a decade old by now, but the rich majority *still* don't understand.

Extremely on point article by andy ⬛️ QT’ing to a) get you to read it and b) because I’ve got thoughts on this I want to follow up on tomorrow The KOL “model” is a cancer: it has limited legitimate applications but it’s morphed into something horrific

It does feel like we’re finally confronting some of the deeper problems in crypto. The reality of it is, the front door to crypto is YouTubers we don’t even know about luring n00bs into their pump and dump scam traps. It’s probably a big barrier to adoption.

Tom (@r0botllama) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So true - one of the big problems in this space that is actually a pretty easy fix 😬 Probably a good test of whether something solves a problem or is seeking a problem - if it does, you won't need to shill the tech! Outcomes / experience > stack 💯💯💯

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. The #1, #2, #3 deciding factor of a startup’s success is the shipping velocity. Companies have no long term moat, the only moat is a fast shipping culture.
