This semester we were tasked to design a performing arts center for our campus. Dedicated to St. Genesius. Hand drafted then inked and watercolor rendered. Thankful for a Benedictine College undergrad education and looking forward to earning a masters at K-State in the fall.

5-over-1 buildings can be exactly like Paris... but where in the US is there one such building? Just ONE? The fact is the architects are not equipped, either with classical principles or a library of useful details, to implement anything like this today. I am one; it's on us.

Benedictine College is amazing. We met with John Haigh, founder of their new program in classical architecture and he affirmed the insight of Alan Cornett, “Why can't we build what they built? Because we don't believe what they believed. It's not an issue of technical ability.”
