She sighed, “And who knew you could be insightful,” she laughed her eyes seeking his out - searching for something. “You read my file - I’m assuming - so you know what I’m capable of when my temper claims me and directs my actions?”

She was relaxing . . . but would he notice? “So - you’re saying I should let my temper out? I’m afraid a training dummy only gets me so far, sir.” She gave him a soft smile - the first he’s earned since she got her. “I - I can’t just let myself go. Not anymore.”

She turned and raised a brow at him, “were you offering to train with me?” And is that a smile on her face, “I think we might need to see if I can handle it.”

I’ll be damned if he’s not growing on me.

She laughed softly, "I won't be standing you up. I'll be there. Make sure you are." And then there was a doctor, her hand was broken but it was readily fixed though she might have taken and squeezed his hand a little harder than she meant to.

“Then stop wagging your finger at everyone and get on with it.”
