So many Christians think that flipping tables is the only way to do do Christian advocacy and it shows around here. Flipping tables has its place but it should always be seen as an option of last resort. Jesus primarily helped people change through relationships. So must we.

Kind getting into #Eurovision2023, thanks to Switched on Pop. This is my favorite-- worth watching if only for the expression of pure joy at the end when Alessandra knows she nailed it, whistle tone and all. youtube.com/watch?v=zt7U0-…

May I never take for granted the amazing feeling of realizing the words that just came from my typing fingers were drawing on a source beyond myself. It doesn’t always happen, Lord knows. But it’s truly humbling and awe-inspiring when it does.

You may notice that I almost never tweet about politics. This thread is literally the first thing i've encountered worth amplifying. And I thank Ari Kohen for adding "kakistocracy" to my vocabulary, though I regret its usefulness.

Can I just say that I love Readwise? I just hit 100 days on my streak and I can't think of any other app that has made such a difference both in my knowledge and in my enjoyment of life. Reader is fantastic too, more knowledge innovation in progress.

This is an appreciation thread for the those who have been really helpful in my journey to learn more about autism. There are so many autistic people that teach us from firsthand experience. This isn’t every single account that’s helped me, but it’s a special bunch 🧵

If this death count holds at zero, it's not a fluke. It's because science worked. The advanced outlooks 4, 5, 6 days out from NWS Storm Prediction Center. The timely alerts that made your cell phones buzz from NWS Omaha. The broadcast meteorologist on your TV, streaming device, etc. It worked.
