People want to pretend 9/11 united us, but forgot that hate crimes against people of color went up in direct correlation to the event 🤔 Does that seem united? Or do they mean it united certain people AGAINST a perceived enemy, who had absolutely nothing to do with it?

Why do we beat ourselves up about other people's opinions of us? We know who we are. We know our intent. If someone misunderstands us, we should be able to brush it off, right? Nope. Sorry not how our psyche works. We gotta beat ourselves up for the rest of our lives 🤷‍♀️

Looks like I'm back to yelling into this void of collective human insignificance. I got a little too subversive on FB, and everyone thought I lost my ever-loving mind, graciously ignoring that it's been MIA for about a decade now. I got a lot to say still, with 0 fucks to give 😘

I've given so few fucks, they retreated into my vagina and dried up, along with my patience for this existence I definitely did not consent to, in a society I have absolutely no business trying to objectively dissect 🙃

If I just lazily relocate all my semi-funny quips from FB to here, you think I'd be able to squeeze enough validation out of them to make it worthwhile? Probably not cuz I've dried everything up over here, including my ability to feel any validation. Explains the lack of tears 🥲

Do you ever think of a joke and then realize your sense of humor is either entirely too elaborate and convoluted or entirely too childish and simple, cuz farting and poopoo peepee will never not be funny to my id 🤭 but jokes about eternal struggle are timeless 😏 no chill here.

We gotta start calling the mental sickness brought on by society's bigoted ignorance and inability to understand individual identity as personal and not the collective's to decide or enforce, as a symptom of societal illness rather than a symptom of individual mental illness.
