Job coaches sent to mental health wards is clearly obscene but it’s the natural end point of an agenda that equates health with productivity. If you believe humans are only valuable when they earn a wage, the NHS is a tool - not to help patients - but to get them back to work.

We urgently need the right people visiting those in mental health hospitals: therapists, benefits advisors, housing support, domestic abuse and autism specialists. But one thing we absolutely DON’T need? Job coaches. Let’s prioritize care, not pressure. tinyurl.com/4jyx98uz

I appaud UN Office on Drugs & Crime for needed focus on stimulant drugs #EHRC2024 but urge focus beyond BBV. A cynical view: this speaks more to communicable disease transmission concern among broader 'public' than the health & wellbeing of people who use stimulants. Respiratory conditions crucial!
