We just helped one of the people we support to secure his own, lovely bungalow in a quiet street. He's been renting it really happily for 2 years since he left an assessment and treatment unit but now he won't have to move unless he wants to. What a great way to end the week!

No Reading Festival this year, so we had our own mini-festival yesterday. All socially distanced of course but everyone still had a great time!

Such an important statement from ADASS. We cannot pretend that the price for #socialcare isn't being paid. It's just that it is being paid by people receiving less care than they need, by staff receiving lower wages than they deserve, by families spending their savings.

I literally don't have the energy to express how this makes us feel. No wonder some of his constituents elected to contact me instead of him.
