It BAFFLES me how people put up with cloud services. I spend so much of my life on loading screens and dealing with permissions errors

The problem with cloud isn't even the price, or security. It's the fact it's instant micro service hell. Booting a simple server+dB inevitably enrolls you onto about thirty different cloud tools, each with it's own permissions, UI and of course pricing. Makes grug mad.
