WTF? On GUIX there is a bash script that sets up the environment, PATH, etc. The fish shell integration uses fenv to capture the environment for the login-shell. It fails to export a certain path unless I add a no-op at the end. I'm actually lost.

Now that I've used nu for a while, I can say with confidence that it needs more time in the oven. It's awesome, but mainly for an interactive shell. It's behavior under a PTY is "not there yet".
