On 10-12-21 at approximately 0209hrs Officer J. Vicars was checking a local hotel when he located a stolen truck out of Colorado Springs. Mario Jaramillo (38) was arrested for an active felony vehicle theft warrant out of El Paso County for the very same truck.

The Pueblo Police Department sends condolences to the El Paso County Sheriffs Office with the murder of Deputy Perry. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and friends. We also pray for the safety of those who will eventually bring his murderer to justice.
