#MonkeyPox is a viral infection transmitted to humans through contact with body fluid or bite of infected squirrels and monkeys.

#MonkeyPox is also transmitted from person to person through close contact with secretions of an infected respiratory tract and skin lesions

#MonkeyPox usually presents as a rash that spreads from the face to palms, armpits, trunk, groin, and soles of the feet.

Proper personal hygiene and wearing of protective gears by Health workers and caregivers would reduce transmission of #MonkeyPox.

Suspected cases of #MonkeyPox should be reported to the nearest health facility for proper treatment.
