South East CPT officers carried out speed checks around schools after reports of speeding vehicles 🚙 We also focused on patrols to deter ASB and shoplifting along Princes Street and St James Quarter to support the shoplifting task force launch earlier this month 🚔

Last Friday, police officers from T5 South East, Public Protection, and Street Assist carried out a high-visibility road check on George Street 🌆 The operation concluded with: -132 vehicles stopped and checked -17 offences detected Well done to everyone involved! 👏

Community officers, along with specialist departments and resources carried out a day of action yesterday in relation to illegal bikes/Surrons in the south-east of Edinburgh. A quad bike and off-road bike were seized along with one male charged with various driving offences.
