We’re teaming up across state government to cut housing costs. These proposed reforms will get critical housing projects across the finish line faster and prioritize the kinds of housing we need most – dense, energy efficient, and resilient buildings that will stay affordable.

Right now, it can take a year or more to get new homes through the environmental review process. That's way too long. Ā  Ā Ā  So, let's speed it up. Let's make it 30 days. Ā  Ā Ā  We don't need to choose between protecting the environment and building more homes. We can do it all.

Anyone who’s worked in local government knows that even when everything goes right, new housing can still get caught up in red tape. By speeding up the environmental review process from 365 days (or more) to 30 days, we’re keeping costs down and building more homes, faster.

Solar is the cheapest, fastest energy out there—and it should be powering Massachusetts. We used to lead, but states like Florida and Texas are moving faster. So I’m cutting red tape, creating jobs, and makingĀ it easier for everyone to benefit from affordable solar.

Nuclear power looks a lot different in 2025 – it uses a smaller footprint, produces less waste, and can be factory-assembled. Massachusetts wants to seize this opportunity for more reliable power and to attract new business opportunities and energy resources to the state.

HARVEST MOON TIMELAPSE. The distortion from the heat on top of the cooler ocean was incredible, making the peninsula look like it's floating on water and doing all kinds of tricks to the rising moon. You can see the drone I was complaining about earlier. There's no etiquette

Massachusetts’ gateway cities disproportionately face higher pollution levels and fewer green spaces.Ā These grants will provide cleaner air, cooler streets, and healthier neighborhoods toĀ communities that need it most.

Captured last night- probably the coolest comet shot I've ever gotten. I've never seen such a dynamic tail on a come. Incredible active, and moving quickly, which makes photographing it a challenge. See how it moves in the reply.

Forests, wetlands, and other open spaces help absorb stormwater, cool down neighborhoods, and reduce the impacts of extreme weather. These grants allow communities to hold onto the land that protects them.
