During the pandemic I tried to build a Home Lab, 100% powered by RPi 4 devices. But I couldn't go too far... It was not easy to get these devices at that time. Now... Things changed, and I decided to uncover this idea of building my home lab with RPi 5 devices. Let's see how it

💡 #Java tip: you can now write statements before super() in constructors. However, use it wisely, constructors should still stay lean and predictable. #Java25IntelliJIDEA 👇 jb.gg/px2g25

Elixir v1.19 will also include a "mix help app:phoenix" command that lists all modules in an application alongside the first paragraph of their docs. Tell this to your human and LLM friends.

Elixir v1.19.0-rc.2 is out! It is our last stop before v1.19, so please give it a try: elixirforum.com/t/elixir-v1-19… The results are great: the Remote folks confirmed their codebase compiles 55% on v1.19 and type checking is still ~1ms/module on average, even with all new features!

Elixir v1.19 released: enhanced type checking, broader type inference, and up to 4x faster compilation for large projects! elixir-lang.org/blog/2025/10/1… A huge thank you to Fresha, Starfish*, and Dashbit for sponsoring the type system, plus CNRS 🌍 and @Remote for making it possible.

The next Elixir v1.20 RC will drastically improve incremental compilation for structs. Pattern matching and updating structs will no longer recompile when structs fields are added/removed. Recompilation will only happen when constructing structs. 🎉
