This week my focus was to teach the kids about sugar and some of the bad eating habits that we have developed through the years. Today we measured how much sugar is in a can of soda. “40g of sugar is a lot of sugar”. #Science #teaching

Yesterday our students had the opportunity to create a miniature version of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Next year we need to incorporate floats and mini performances. Let’s go!

This week students will participate in the Mars Base Camp STEM Challenge. Today we surveyed the surface of Mars to prepare for our Mars Rovers that we are building in the pictures. They did a fantastic job troubleshooting problems and engineering the little rovers. #NASA #Science
