It is sometimes difficult to process our vulnerabilities and our emotions, but it is vital so we don't isolate ourselves and those around us from our stress. When we let others into our process, we will quickly find that they want to help or hinder our growth.

By being quiet and keeping to ourselves, we subconsciously think that we are helping those around us because we are not burdening them. Unfortunately, we are pushing them away and not allowing them to help us process. Staying quiet is the opposite of helpful.

Half of the people who leave active duty need help, and the tiny fraction of veterans who actually get help would shock you. We don't want anyone to fall through the cracks and be forgotten about. If you are stuck, seek help. We care about you!
