Harm by alcohol has made a disproportionate negative impact on the youth, women, Indigenous communities, and those facing economic hardship. Big alcohol puts profits above people.

Although regulations and taxes need to be reigned in, there are some hard truths. Policies that have proven to reduce harm caused by alcohol and save lives are higher alcohol taxes, tight marketing restrictions, and strong controls on alcohol sales.
