I’m reading the book “Grading for Equity” and tonight I read this quote “we preach the gospel of learning but we make students genuflect to the alter of points.” Sobering!

I believe B.F. Skinner and his educational theory on behaviorism is the greatest enemy of the 21st century classroom. A lot has changed in education and our world but our classrooms and our grading practices do not reflect that.
