GOP VP nominee JD Vance will return to Michigan Wednesday, Oct. 2nd. He will be in Auburn Hills & Marne. This trip will be his first following the VP debate between Vance and Tim Walz happening the night before. This will be Vance’s 7th campaign trip to MI.

On Thursday, Donald J. Trump will make his 11th trip to Michigan this year. His campaign says he will rally in Saginaw at 3pm. JD Vance will cross the state Wednesday, stopping in Auburn Hills & Marne. Kamala Harris is also reportedly going to be in Flint on Friday.

Harris is going to be at Riverside Park tomorrow, according to people setting up. I was just trying to walk my dog when I came across the stage. Everyone was very nice to Parker.

Fmr Pres. Bill Clinton will campaign across West MI on Wednesday, per the Harris camp. He will make 3 stops: Muskegon Heights, South Haven and Benton Harbor. Both fmr Pres. Barack Obama and fmr First Lady Michelle Obama have also made trips to MI in the last week.

Key race projection here for West Michigan - Hillary Scholten will keep her seat in Congress defeating GOP challenger Paul Hudson.

Around 12:30am Wednesday morning - Elissa Slotkin takes to the stage to address the crowd. The race for the open U.S. Senate seat is still very close at this hour. “My message to you all, get some rest, hunker down, we’ve got a long way to go.” - Rep. Slotkin.

After flipping the State House, MI Republicans have selected Speaker Matt Hall to be the next Speaker. Rep. Hall represents District 42, which includes parts of Kalamazoo and Allegan counties. Other West MI Reps in leadership: - Rachelle Smit (Allegan) - Bryan Posthumus (Rockford)
