Let's check in and see which decade has the highest summer temperature for the Contiguous U.S. Note: the 1930s in the U.S. were a wild outlier compared to the rest of the globe.

A McDonald's declaring it will not serve a mask-wearing customer is the equivalent of McDonald's Corporation saying it will not serve someone with HIV or cancer or immunocompromised. Shameful. And ridiculously illegal. Human rights lawsuits written all over this.

"Active shootings were 62.5% less likely to occur in gun-free establishments than in gun-allowing places. Therefore, it is very unlikely that active shooters are targeting gun-free zones; conversely, gun-free zones may be protective."

Our summer surge is unusual. It’s the highest summer surge we have had in a long time. And I believe it’s the result of direct policy failures of the CDC relaxing hospital infection guidelines to ignore airborne pathogens, and FDA slow in dragging their feet, and few precautions.

In 2022, Governor Brian P. Kemp signed permitless carry into law at a gun store surrounded by gun lobbyists, even though law enforcement and nearly 70% of Georgians opposed the legislation. Today’s school shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder was caused by lax gun laws.

Reporter: What can be done to make Georgia schools safer? Governor: This is not the day to talk about safety or policy. We need thoughts and prayers for the victims, law enforcement, and educators.
